Silverstone Strider Gold 1200W PSU
Just finished sleeving my Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800W power supply unit. Going with the black and blue themed sleeves from MDPC-X - the best sleeves in the market. Had quite a bit of hard time removing the 24 pin cables, but after a few tries...it went well. I've uploaded a video on YouTube too. A small guide on how i remove those pins. Hope you find it useful.
Last week i received all the internal parts of Cooler Master HAF 932 back from powder coating. You can view all the images at the gallery below. Now, i just need to prepare the other remainding parts, mainly - the two side panel window, the top and bottom of the casing. Since, those parts are painted, i just need to remove the existing paints on it.

My Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800W PSU

It was a busy weekend last week but managed to squeeze some time to go Low Yat Plaza with couple of friends and my wife. Purchased the Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800W power supply unit. The price was right for RM 599.00. I am not sure if it's fast selling or the shipment that came in was low, it sure was selling like hot cakes. Only one shop had the 800W unit and that too was hidden behind the shelf, guess i got lucky!!! :D

Just sleeved my HAF 932 top panel cables

Started to work on my own build last week. Prepared all the top panel connection cables for my Cooler Master HAF 932 and sleeved it with MDPC-X quality sleeves. It was really easy and super cool to work with these sleeves. Never, ever use those normal sleeves!!!!. Spend about 2 hours to do it. Next stop would be sleeving my new PSU - Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800W. I've taken some pictures of the end result, hope you guys like it. Check it out in the image gallery.
Finally, it's out!!!...The new V6GT CPU Cooler from the master itself. Looking for a CPU cooler that both looks great and still outperforms the competition? Your wait is over, as the Cooler Master V6GT combines a new thinking in CPU cooler design, yet does not compromise on cooling performance. It also packs a range of great features as standard, such as the use of a Double-V heatpipe design, twin 120mm DynaLoop™ PWM fans, a built in LED strip on the top and of course support for multiple CPU sockets.

The V6GT is already available in the market. You can purchase it online for RM 249.00 from here.

V6 follows in the footsteps of t he revolutionary V8 and Vl0 CPU coolers from Cooler Master. Designed with a muscular engine look, the V6 fits nicely with any performance hardware. The V6 also features new mechanical structure that includes: V-shaped heatpipe array, asymmetrical aluminum fins (which are densely stacked for optimal cooling), a red LED fan with PWM speed control function and DynaLoop™ long life technology, snap-on cover to conveniently add a second fan if needed.

Cable Management Holes on HAF 932 Case

I was busy with work lately and didn't have much time on my HAF 932 case mod project. I've planned all the cable management holes, and before it goes for powder coating, i better drill all the necessary holes. I added extra 2 holes on the side of the 5.25" cage for my DVD or other Controller module wires and connections. It's quite simple and maybe a bit old-school approach.
The new CPU cooler V6 GT Speed Cooling solution from Cooler Master will be out soon, just not sure when. It's said that the new V6 GT - the big brother of the V6 which comes with two high performance 120mm fans with DynaLoopTM bearings and a new V-shaped heatpipe arrays. There were also prediction that it's going to defeat the V8 coolers. One nice feature i see so far is that it comes with a button that changes the LED colours between red and blue. This new V6 GT supports both Intel and AMD CPU sockets.

This CPU Cooler has been released. Click here.

Few weeks ago, Cooler Master unleashed another extensive range of power supplies that allows for a perfect fit for end users and gaming enthusiast. Silent Pro Gold Series – a brand new lineup of power supplies that meet the 80Plus Gold Standard with over 90% power efficiency. Definately, the Silent Pro Gold Series sets a new standard in PSU excellence. Now, we know why the Gold Looking Logo on their website is all about!!!. I would love to have these, especially the 1000W or the 1200W but i've already set my eyes on Corsair AX1200. Maybe for my next build, hopefully the price is right or maybe if it's cheaper than the Corsair AX1200. On the other hand, these Gold Series PSU's are not 100% modular.

Lets see what the Silent Pro Gold Series power supply has to offer....

Finally, the much anticipated chassis from Cooler Master - The HAF-X arrives!!!!. It comes with a lot of features compared to HAF 932 series. It's all black interior and the best part, comes with dust filters and additional fans. I can't wait for it to be released here in Malaysia. The case is said to be released end of June 2010 and the price range is around RM599.00.

What's included in Cooler Master HAF-X is 9 expansion slots, you can fit 2 X 200mm fans at the top but the case comes with only 1 fan, safety sliding cover for on/off buttons, 2 front USB 3.0 ports!!!!, advanced GPU holder, the case can fit Radeon 5970, SATA dock for easy installation, power supply partition cover to hide cables, the front 230mm fan now has an LED on/off switch compared to other HAF series and also air ducts to cool GPU's.
